Frequently Asked Questions

Q.1: Why do you have a 12 item minimum on unit apparel? Why can't I just buy ONE of something?

more » « less

We use traditional, hand-pulled screenprinting techniques in order to ensure the best possible quality on our printed items. A dozen items are about what we need to offset the cost of labor to burn, store, set up, and then clean the silkscreens and frames for each run. We don't care WHAT 12 items they are (any combination of shirts, sweatshirts, etc) or even what color fabric we use...as long as it's 12 items that use exactly the same screens.

Companies that offer to make "1" of something often use inks from a T-Jet or other inkjet-style printer, which doesn't have the same 'holding power' that traditional screening provides. So be sure to check what their processes are before committing to a large run...you might not be comparing apples to apples!

Q.2: But I REALLY want to get a unit t-shirt...can't you do anything for me??

We offer our overstock on our eBay Auction Page, for collectors...they're always new, and without any defects (unless we note otherwise in the item description. If you're lucky, you might find one that strikes your fancy (unless you object to having your fancy struck, in which case we'll be gentle).

Q.3: Do you have youth sizes for apparel?

more » « less

The "back area" on a youth size is much smaller than the back of an adult size tee. Since we have to run 12 items in an order, we'd need to build separate smaller screens for the youth sizes, and the 'youth screen' would have its own 12 item minimum. It rarely would happen that a unit would be able to order 12 youth apparel items, so we've not maed it a standard item in the stores. However, if you DO need 12 youth items, give us a shout and we'll do a run for you. Pricing would be exactly the same as the adult sizes.

Q.4: I'm looking for product "X" and I don't see it on your website. Can you make "X"?

more » « less

We love getting requests for items that other companies can't (or won't) make. We get our best product ideas from units with an unmet need! It's how we got into printing challenge coins, coasters, and koozies. And since we work with lots of units, we can go to the manufacturers and (usually) get a corporate or volume discount, so that you don't pay more than if you'd found them directly.

So let us know...we'll do the research for you and let you know if it's something we can carry!
